The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Mr. Zahir Tanin, met today with Specialist Prosecutor Jack Smith during his first visit to Kosovo since being appointed to the post. The two acknowledged the depth and quality of continuing professional cooperation between the United Nations and the Office of the Specialist Prosecutor in accordance with relevant legal frameworks.
