Kinshasa, August 7, 2024: The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) expresses its appreciation of the United Nations Security Council’s adoption of Resolution 2746 (2024). This resolution authorizes enhanced support from MONUSCO to the Southern African Development Community Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (SAMIDRC). It represents a commitment from the international community to support security and stabilization efforts in the DRC.
