SRSG Zahir Tanin welcomed the Head of Liaison Office of Greece, Ambassador Chryssoula Aliferi, at UNMIK Headquarters on 21 May 2018. Ambassador Aliferi and the SRSG discussed latest developments in Kosovo and the region, including relations between Belgrade and Pristina and the EU-facilitated dialogue. The SRSG briefed the Ambassador on recent UNMIK activities, including the United Nations Kosovo Trust-building Forum that took place in Ljubljana in May 2018. Ambassador Aliferi presented recent initiates of the Greek government that aim to promote religious and cultural understanding and cooperation in the Balkan region and beyond.
